What a lovely place to go especially for the children but good for adults as well! There were far more animals than I expected and you can see them up close which is good for children of all ages. Most of them love to be stroked as well and such a variety of each species. Then of course the 'creepy... More

Definitely value for money irregardless of the winter fees, so much to explore, play and see for all ages. It was my first visit and I was impressed. Layout was good and different parts away from main section to explore - safe areas for little ones to run about. We even ate in the restaurant, the kids lunch bag -... More

We had a fantastic day today at the Rare Breeds Centre. Our children loved seeing all the animals especially the tiny piglets and the massive rabbit. The tractor ride was brilliant and we really liked that you didn't have to pay extra to have a ride. The tractor driver was brilliant and was such a laugh. I didn't catch his... More

They have a falconry show taking place most days and opportunities for little ones to pet some rabbits and guniapigs. Let's of adventure playground stuff for the kids to do (kids fort and giant... Even on a cold and a bit wet January day the Rare Breeds Centre is the perfect family day out. There's so much to do on the site and it's a fantastic opportunity for children to meet animals and learn about them and most important respect them. All the staff are really friendly, the animals are very well looked after... More

Visited the Rare Breeds Centre for the first time today with my partner and our 2 year old and despite the moody weather, she loved it. The children's barn is open all day where you can pet the animals. Our little girl loved the rabbits and guinea pigs that roam around. All the animals were friendly and looked happy and... More

A great time for our grandchildren. Tractor Trailer rides. Close contact with animals in the open air and in enclosed areas.
