Our experience was pretty much the same as everyone else. Everything the same. The guy on the motorcycle diverting us from Mayfield Falls with a tale that a girl drowned anti was closed. At Roaring River our experience is much the same as the others. After a nice tour, the guide, Alvin, was expecting a lot more money than we... More

As have been posted by others, we were scammed too. We were a bit disoriented finding the place and a guy on a scooter offered to take us to the Roaring River. After the tour which we did not know was an added price from "admission fees" of $4000J, the tour guide wanted more $$ and the guy who helped... More

My husband and 12 yr old son went here as our first excursion in Jamaica. On the way there from Negril a man on a scooter flagged us down and said to follow him. We didn't know at the time that he was trying to get money from us (we had gps and didn't need guiding). Once we got to... More

This was horrible. Me and my boyfriend took a scooter here and everybody tried to drive up to us even though we knew where we were going. Once we got in to the village the wanted us to buy tickets to go in (didn't say anything on a sign or anything how much) well after more then 30 minutes we... More

Our guide through the caves did not have a flashlight. Most of the cave is unlighted. One of our group had to use his phone light. It is beautiful. The water levels were low. Call before you go.

We were on our way to YS Falls in our rental and DAVID on a motorcycle rode up beside us in traffic claiming he recognized us from our hotel. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP RIGHT THERE AND CONTINUE ON WITH YOUR DAY. (When in reality, I believe he just saw our hotel wristband and made up a story about... More

Our guide was local and very knowledgeable. I was very happy that when I went to a stall and asked for water they simply offered it to me and didn't charge for it. The caves itself were well preserved and the river really is special. It is best to take your time to absorb it all. The water was cold... More

It is a fascinating area, nature tour, cultural ambiance and the best part is to get a "cave tour"...and soak in the waters in the cave. Gorgeous and relaxing.

The Blue Hole/Roaring River....DO NOT GO!!! Unless you are from the city and have never seen plants and water, this is a waste of your time and money. The $20 per person was a little steep, but after the effort we made to get there, we checked it out. Our guide Adrian Vassell was knowledgeable, but after the tour he... More

Lovely, scenic with gushing waters and never before seen greenery. Thundering decades old trees form the perfect back drop for a cool environment.
