It was shut. Opening times only run till September 15th. I was late by 13 days. 🙄 It boasts great views I’m told. Built inland when nothing stood in its way. Must see!

We visited the Lighthouse yesterday. There's a little museum adjoined to it but don't expect to spend more than an hour here. There's also a Tearoom at the back if you want a bite to eat. **Caution** the climb up to the top of Lighthouse...More

Not one for the faint hearted or physically challenged but worth the 144 step climb to the top over low entrance fee and admission tickets last for the whole year staffed by knowledgeable volunteers little cafe

Have a feeling it was in the region of 2:50 but the ticket was valid for a year after your initial visit

During October the lighthouse open 12-4 pm on Sunday’s. Just check on their website.
