We spent a lovely afternoon at this beautiful beach, which is quite secluded and not too crowded. The sand is beautiful, rocky entry into the water; the water was a little rough the day we were there. Chairs and umbrellas are $5 each. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff at this beach was super helpful by setting us up in good spot. We were near the far end of the beach where the rocks were less of a nuisance, and the waves were fun without being too overpowering (good for the small children in our group with some adult assistance). Excellent drinks & mahi mahi sandwiches. Getting... More

Beautiful water, beautiful pinkish sand, scenic rock formations, sandstone cliffs, beach side bar and jerk cooking, $5 dollar umbrella rental - is there anything more needed????

Purchased lounge chairs on shore of beautiful Red Beach. Waited a LONG time for grilled food from vendors, but very good. Saw a large yellow tailed snapper (?) fish within 5 feet of shore and saw some casual topless/nude beach goers down the beach in a discreet and nature lovers paradise. Go with your love and let grandma watch the... More

Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. Bring your own food as the wait for food can take over 1 and one half hours - chez Raymond does not know what he is doing except make drinks, and even that could take a considerable amount of time.

It is out of the way and you must be attentive to the turn off. The parking area is a mess of potholes and rocks and may make you uneasy, Once, however, you enter the beach, you will realize it is well worth it. They will offer chairs for rent and we highly recommend eating at Chez Raymond (the best... More

The entrance to this beach can be a bit tricky so pay attention to the signs on the road. The parking lot is the worst part as there are ruts and potholes everywhere. Once you have bounced your way in, there is a short set of stairs leading the the beach and beach bar area. There are a lot of... More

This beach was a great way to spend St. Martin day on November 11th. It was so relaxing and laid back...a lot of families were present. The French side of St. Maarten has such character and the guy renting the beach chairs was so friendly. Then again, he's a fellow Trinidadian ;)
