About
Loterie Farm is a private nature reserve where we have several treetop adventure obstacle courses as well as hiking trails. After hurricane Irma, we have rebuilt our pool area as well as repaired our treetop courses. The restaurant and treelounge tapas bar has yet to be rebuilt though our kitchen for the pool area has been rebuilt so we are open for lunch . We will reopen for dinner January 2018. We are now open 7 days a week.

Great Guides and Wonderful Views
Oct 2021
My husband and I had a wonderful time. It was a great combination of zip-lining and obstacles. Our guides, Chris and Kendrick, were exceptional! They were helpful, supportive, and so much fun. A visit to Loterie Farm is a must!

Delicious lunch with an amazing view
Sep 2021 • Couples
This hidden gem has lush tropical foliage set amongst the treetops. We had a great lunch of crab fondue, green shrimp curry and smoked salmon along with some incredible drinks. Everything tasted superb and fresh and we had a wonderful table that looked out over the valley with beautiful fire red flowering trees. This is definitely a must for our next trip.

Zip-lining superb, guide not so much
Aug 2021
The zip-lining and obstacle course were phenomenal - high and fast and lots of them. However, safety was a concern because it was basically self-guided after an initial short instruction. One guide was provided for 15 people. Helmets were not provided. Throughout the course, there were many loose boards and exposed nails. The guide was not friendly nor fun and definitely did not add to the experience. He stated they were short-staffed but seriously no excuse for his poor attitude. Most of the instruction and assistance came from group members, including us, who had previously zip-lined in Costa Rica.
Definitely do the course if you don't need a lot of supervision and instruction. It was super fun for my daughter and me and the group we were with was great and we had fun together.

Not a canopy tour - a kids ropes course
Aug 2021
The website page for the FlyZone says it "places substantial focus on ecology....
With guides who educate participants about the ecosystem, history, and natural surroundings, our tour let’s those who engage, take in the beautiful forest from high in the treetops....while witnessing and sometimes interfacing with monkeys, iguanas, and tropical birds.

It is actually nothing more than a pretty basic, kids, ropes course with zip lines. Our guide told us how to clip in and be safe, then sent us on our way. There is no room on a platform for more than 2 people (some can't even hold one) so our group spread out immediately and our guide was not even in sight of me for 90% of it. If you weren't staying focused, you could forget a clip and hurt yourself.

There was zero discussion about plants, animals, ecology, history, etc, which is the whole reason why I chose to do it. I saw numerous large iguanas, which was fun, but no other animals. The guide was certainly not making any effort to spot and point out any fauna or flora. If fact, he went down a ladder and spend most of his time on the ground.

As far as viewing the world from the treetops - these trees are not very tall, and 90% of the plants below the course were cleared, so you just see the ground below you - not a canopy tour.

When I checked in, there was a decent line. When it was my turn I said I thought I wanted to do the FlyZone and said, "that's the one where you learn about the forest and see animals, right?" The woman stared blankly me. I wasn't sure if it was the language barrier, lack of knowledge, or what, and I didn't want to hold up the line, so I just bought my ticket. I asked her if I should wear a hat (unsure if it would be shaded and/or if we'd be wearing helmets (yes it is shady, no helmet), and she shrugged and said, "up to you". She didn't seem to know or care about anything.

I looked at the pool. Relatively small and nice. They have a fancy bar, restaurant, and expensive cabanas that you can rent for the day. With all the beautiful beaches in St. Martin/Maarten, I'd rather spend the day at the beach.

FYI - I did email them with my concerns prior to posting online, but got no response after a week. I just got the feeling that they cater to a higher class, fancier customer base than me.

Amazing Time
Aug 2021
We visisted Loterie Farm and was blown away. Absolutely beautiful. The staff were amazing. We did the full hike to the hightest point - Pic Paradis and the view was amazing! Challenging hike, buut worth it to get to the top! We then ate at the restuarant and the chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries were excellent! We referred our new friends and they also visited but only had time for the 1 hour hike; but also loved it! The rain forest was excellent! Be sure to get the hiking stick - we missed them and it couldve been helpful

Service not so good
Aug 2021 • Family
Waitress was like a robot on speed, she walked away before u can finish making an order, and if she passes by and u ask her for something she doesn't stop to listen. She needs to slow down a bit. Until she saw her tip was when she told me a big thank u in the end.

family of 4 Dad Mom 14 year old boy and 12 year Old girl

We had a great time. we did the fly zone. you climb up in the trees and you go from one element to another. You are in the trees going from element to another for over an hour.

It can get hot but it is so fun. will go back and do it again

We did not do it but next time we will enjoy the on sight pool after the fly zone.

Fun day of Zipline Extreme and Relaxing in our Cabana by our private pool
Jul 2021
The zip line was intense but so much fun, it was a challenage but the whole family did it and enjoyed it. The views were beautiful. The best part was afterwards staying at our cabana with our private pool. A super relaxing day and we needed to after the workout with the zipline. It was one of our favorite days of our trip. We would go back again for sure.
