Gorgeous. Uncomfortable.

We were at a concert by the Malta Philharmonic and the Kor Malta, mostly beautifully performed. Externally, it's ornate and neo-Gothic - very steep steps up - internally plainer in the Methodist style because that's what it used to be, a Methodist Church. Incidentally, the first building in Malta to use electric light, and named after the composer of the national anthem. Lovely stately internal arches, simple stained glass behind the altar. Excruciating hard chairs. Fortunately, the concert was only an hour and a quarter. Lovely acoustics.

former Floriana Methodist Church
Sep 2018
My wife's parents met in Floriana Methodist Church during the War. Her father was in the Admiralty and her mother was in the WRNS. The church was used by other dominations as their premises had been bombed.
We weren't able to go inside the Hall but could see the building was in very good repair and there were lovely gardens alongside to walk in with amazing city views.
