We enjoyed a great tour of the winery and a tasting of some amazing bottles. What we liked most was the informative host - we could see how the wine is made from harvest to bottle and than taste the wines while the host explained the differences between various wines. The site was beautiful and the view was great! …

One of the smaller bodegas of Mendoza, but very well organised and super friendly staff. We booked a tour, tasting and lunch. It was fantastic! Only downside I guess was they charged the same price for the kids as for us, whilst they of course did not taste any wine, just water (nothing else was offered).…

Firstly i have to mention our guide/hostess Andrea. She has such passion for what she does and it is infectious. She made the tour interesting, had deep knowledge that she explained clearly . The setting overlooked beautiful trees and a pond. The wine tasting was generous. You are allowed to take your time throughout the tasting. We didn't want to leave! Anyone visiting wineries while in Mendoza should defininitely make this one of their stops.…

Of all of the wineries and vineyards I've visited worldwide during the past several decades, today I had the best private tour and educational tasting session with Andrea Rodriguez at Piattelli. Andrea's formal college education (including the chemistry of wines) in wine making and her story telling capabilities combine for both an enjoyable and educational experience. Andrea told me that weekends are usually very busy and best time to get a private or more private tour with her is on weekdays. A year ago, I had the pleasure of sharing a bottle of 2016 Piattelli Malbec Reserve in Texas. The wine that evening so impressed me that I wrote a note on my bucket list to someday visit the Piattelli winery (at least of of its two major locations). Today was that lucky day for me. Thank you Andrea.…

We have visited wineries in multiple countries and this experience compares favorably with the best. Andrea was our hostess, she discussed the irrigation and vineyard as well as the winemaking and aging processes. She is a winemaker herself and could offer insights into the growing of grapes and the winemaking process. We tasted a number of Piattelli wines and compared similar wines from different vineyards. All in all it was a great experience. We have our list of Piattelli wines to purchase when we return to the US.…
