Stayed at caravan park just up hill from beach and was happy to find it was dog friendly, was a nice walk and the climb up the hill manage to tire us all out. There's a cafe there as well, though didn't use it looked pretty reasonable priced, only thing I would say is park on the hill. There is... More

After travelling miles to find a dog friendly beach we hit on the east beach at Kennack sands. Following the costal path to the left of the beach we arrived 15 minutes later at the beach. A lovely clean beach with fantastic views and lush rolling waves. Definitely what living in Cornwall is all about. The beach was not long... More

This is a wonderful Cove and very beautiful. You can do a beautiful walk from this beach. It has two shacks selling good food and value for money. It is well worth a visit whatever time of the year

Kennack Sands is a beautiful beach with rocks of serpentine. One side of the beach has lovely coloured rocks and rock pools and the other is a sandy beach. There is a lot to keep your interest as the beach is so varied. A car park on the beach so not far to walk to get there.

After a long first part of our walk along the South West Coastal path from Cadgwith, a much needed refreshment was required. At the bottom of the road to Kennack Sands on the left hand side was the Beach Hut Cafe serving tea's, coffee, cold drinks, delicious sandwiches & cakes, ice creams and most importantly the famous delicious and enticing... Been here many times and the place still amazes me each time. Lots of parking (with a small fee) next the coffee shop. There is also a lovely beach cafe a few steps away, both of which have appealing offers on all beach essentials from buckets to surfboards. Further onto the beach, there is a staired path to the top... More

Lovely beach, not over crowded, life guards, cafes, easy parking right next to beach, Rock pools for the kids. Overall we preferred this beach over kynance cove for safety for our younger children and less of a walk for little legs! We were staying in the Parkdean so it was easy to get to. Car park was £4 but you... More

We were staying in nearby Kuggar and this was the closest beach to us. Beach is very clean and there was ample car parking although it was filling up quickly when we were there. Lovely picturesque beach, clean waters and great waves for body boarding. Nice hut serving Cornish ice creams and shop selling usual beach paraphernalia if like us... More
