Me my wife and granddaughter visited the zoo last Wednesday. Altogether an enjoyable day. Lots of people on here say it's cruel, they have no room, to hot for them etc etc I've been to many zoo's in Thailand and this is by far the best. Zoo's are no different all over the world people say too hot for the... More

The best and the most satisfactory part of this zoo is the animals are kept very close to the natural state and confinement is not much. The thing which I never like is the animal show.. When I see elephant doing circus and you look at his eyes it looks painful. I like the way this zoo has opportunity to... More

Whilst its described as an open zoo most of the animals are housed in very confined compounds, particularity the tigers. There is not a good variety of species to see here. The elephant swimming pool is good but not sure if the elephant would share my view. They have a number of animal shows for which there is an additional... More

We visited the flight of the Gibbon and the zoo afterwards. Everything promised in the flyer is a lie. I can't believe all those positive comments here. I work as an animal care taker in one of switzerlands most iconic zoos and that zoo after the flight made me really sad. Lack of water, small enclosures, no space to hide,... More

Another Birthday outing ..now 6 Years old .. and again at the Gate, .. foreigners are herded to a separate pay / ticket booth, .. and only charged just three times that of the locals, ,for entry ! A disappointing start to a fairly shabby experience. Under maintained, often grubby with many allotments closed .. not a thrilling experience for... More

Love this place. If the US has something like this, I am sure to take the kids there more often. Not many places where you can feed the giraffe, elephants, hippo and a host of other animals. Kids had a great time even the young one. Also, the place is very humane. I do not enjoy seeing animals in chain... More

Khao Kheow open zoo is the best zoo in Thailand. You can either visit the zoo during the day or at night is pretty awesome as well. The night animals show is the great experience. Must visit place for animal lovers!
