It is very nice place. It is worth to go. Some small shops with good souvenirs and some restaurants avoid Stodola restaurant. There is plenty of car parks too. Few minutes walk from car park to the castle.

A breathtaking castle and tour that takes you through the ruins. Some climbing on rough stones involved, but nothing too strenuous as I saw both the elderly and small children make the climbs. A must see if you are in this part of Poland.

Magical old place, one of many on the trail, but I dare say the best of them all. Served as a film set for one of Andrzej Wajda's films. Great area for an extensive walk around it.

No, you can only buy tickets directly at the entrance. They do not provide it online. You can always order a guide by e-mail: biuro@zamek-ogrodzieniec.pl but I think, the best is to discover the castle itself.

You should better travel by PKP train. First, go to Zawiercie station, then take a bus no 7 to Podzamcze.
