Lovina is not the most beautiful village of Bali. The beach had a lot of trash on the sand and in the water when we visited it. That was a bit of a disappointment. There are nice restaurants, but it not always easy to get there by foot as the pavement is not very safe. Most people come here just... More

We have enjoyed 5 days at Lovina exploring and relaxing. Lots to do and see. Fish with locals, visit the hot springs, take a cooking class, snorkel near deer island and walk along black sand.

Nothing fancy about this beach. Quiet beach with a few stalls around and a few restaurants. Alot of water activities go out early in the morning from this beach and come back in the afternoon, so during the day it is quiet

Lovina beach might not as famous as Kuta beach or even double six. no big swell, not a white sandy beach spot. but lovina offers it's own beauty, The Glorious Dolphin :) yes it was a great call to did this early morning boat trip to meet our lovely lovina dolphin.

Over many visits, my husband and I have viewed large schools of dolphins as they feed off shore at dawn. By staying a respectful distance away, the dolphins were not disturbed by our presence and frequently approached our boats, much to our delight. Unfortunately, in Lovina, this respectful behaviour towards these mammals is now largely gone. Boats this morning literally... More

Livonia is a lovely small town but the beach is dirty and not great in wet season. I hear the dolphin watching is great, but boats are not our thing

Lovina Beach was a bit disappointing to us. My parents visited this place several years ago and loved it that's why we came as well. There was some trash on the beach and in the sea. Some locals were slightly cleaning the beach in the morning but still the swim here was not so pleasant as at another beaches. Also... More

We were heading Lovina after Budugul. Looking a place to stay. Budugul does not have a boutique center to walk around so we head to Munduk but we didn't like it neither so we finished in Lovina. We stayed at Suma Hotel and make our 2 nights incredible. Lovina is really down during January. Not so many places to eat... More

The second time we went dolphin watching, we were lucky to meet this boat man. He is quite knowledgeable and told us lots of things. Contrary to popular belief, dolphin watching can actually be done all day....buttt, you have to take into consideration that the sun really feels more scorching hot at an open sea. Our boat man also shares... More
