Easily the most picturesque Beach we have ever been to. No cars and just a few walking streets make the area feel very secluded. The shops along the walking streets are great and offer a variety of everything you could want. This is a must go to place if you like nice beaches!

My partner is completely sold, the best beach ever! It was indeed beautiful, with soft white sand and crystal clear water. Deep rather quick so you don't have to walk too long before you can cool of. There is also some trees for shade and some restaurants and shops.

Whislt we had been told that Railay Beach was a must to visit, we were a little disappointed as the beach & shore line had quite a lot of small coral pieces & also a good few jelly fish(didn't want to find out if they were poisonous!). Having said that we still had a pleasant day there & a great... More

You can catch a long tail from ao nang for 100 baht. Each way. Railay is very beautiful with picturesque views and nice water. Pack some snacks if you want too save money as it is expensive. You can rent kayaks for about 200 baht an hour.

I was expecting the crowds of people due to the reviews on here. However, this place is certainly not a paradise. The beach itself is beautiful and we hired some kayaks for a couple of hours which was a nice way to view the bay. However, as you walk inland towards the west beach it is literally a dumping ground... More

We stayed at Railay Beach for 3 nights and I did not find a warmer water anywhere else than here. Railay is chill, beautiful, playful, pit stop and departure point for many island tours and still holds an easy nightlife time. Must come and enjoy it!

A beautiful bay with soft blue/green water, spotted with rugged rock outcrops, strangely proportioned, like a James Bond film from long ago.

This may have been one of the most beautiful beaches in southeast Asia. Now it is a hot spot to make a selfy or a "jumping" picture. 2/3 of the beach are reserved for noisy longtail boats, the rest is free for swimming in an area restricted by yellow buoys. The beach disappears at high ide, just have a seat... More

The beach was so crowded with people you could barely see the sand. There are so many long tail and motor boats there is no place to go swimming, the noise is ridiculous. The shoreline is filled with restaurants, bars, massage places all selling the same fare. There are large billboards offering every kind of tourist attractions. I can't express... More
