This 15th century castle is worth the stop! These majestic walls built by the Arabs protect the castle, a church, and clock tower. There is also a museum displaying works by Pablo Picasso.

We stopped here as our first castle after leaving madrid airport, pretty much a waste of time, the town is ok but not special bit of a dead zone. All of Spain has history so I have to choose what I am going to rave about but the town and its castle was ok not easy to walk around and see. This is where we learnt that in spain stuff is closed most of the time. I think this town looks better from a distance you can even see the castle from the motorway. Stop only if you have the time.

Great for family outing We were not lucky finding a good place to eat, the town was with more people that expected. Kids love going to the church and going up to the tower, the views are beautiful. To go to the tower you only pay 1 Euro and to go up around the walls only 2 Euros. Don't miss it!
