What a jewel in a beautiful surrounding

As we where in the neighborhood at Trevélez we decided to pass by specially after reading great reviews. Wooow nothing was exaggerated it’s a great small shop where you can see even how they make the chocolates. Ofcourse we bought more than enough for the whole town. Taste Ed all and bought our favorites. Advise don’t come with a full storage. All chocolates are home made artisan, and products used of the area. The fig chocolates with liquor are the best as the milk chocolate with honey. They speak a bit English but with basic spanish your good as well. The prices are actually quite cheap for what you get. Entrance free, free tastings and no obligation to buy. You can pay by card as well.

The chocolates sold here are so good, we had to visit a second time! What a selection and at good prices for this quality.
The shop is at the west end of the village, almost the last place. There is some parking outside the house next to it on the right.
Nice staff, the second visit we were served by a guy who spoke good English. There is also a table in the middle of the shop with loads of different chocies to try. Far too tempting.
One of the stars is in the fridge. Chocolate with blue cheese wrapped in nuts....wow!
Don't drive past without stopping.

Went here to have a look around, and buy some gifts.
A wide selection of chocolates are available to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.
Stand outs are the fig selection and liquor truffles.
Disappointed nothing was being made at the time, but my four year old had a good time trying the abundant tasting selection, no restrictions were put on us over the amount we could try.

"step away from the chocolate" paradise!!

We visit this tiny shop every time we go skiing and if my son had his way, we would drive the couple of hours just for the hot chocolate drink.
Now me being diabetic, I should not really go in but hells bells, it is hard not too. As I open the door I keep telling myself, don't buy anything for yourself but the minute that door closes, it is more like "give me a little of everything".
The guy who owns it, will break off bits for you to try before you buy but you cannot leave without having the hot chocolate drink.

Excellent chocolate spot

We have visited the chocolate factory in Pitres quite a few times, but this time we saw they are on TripAdvisor! We always have a hot chocolate drink (very nice!) before commencing the difficult job of deciding which of their many solid chocolates to purchase. Ideal for presents, if you have the will power not to eat them yourself. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Fantastic local artisan chocolate shop with more flavours of chocolate than you can ever imagine - all of which you can sample! Lovely member of staff who cut up even more bits of chocolate for us to taste. Worth a visit.
