Nicely restored amphitheater at beautiful location

Highly recommend visiting this nicely restored amphitheater at beautiful location. Can be well combined with a visit to the very close by catacombs.

Saw this when visiting catacombs. I don't think the restoration has been very sympathetic and couldn't say I thought it was worth seeing. I imagine going to a concert here, though, would be amazing.

Beautiful landscape, well preserved stone works, a piece of history near Klima village. There are some steep steps up to the hill and it is better to have some water with you on the way, since it could get hot.

Well worth a visit, especially if you're also visiting the catacombs. It's well-preserved and reconstructed, and you can walk around. It's a wonderful place to visit, and when we went it was free.

Definitely worth the visit when in Milos. There are no guards onsite so you can pretty much go there anytime you like but of course it is better during day time. We were able to walk down and sit on the marble steps to soak in the history at this Roman theatre. Unlike the one in Athens, where you have... More

We walked down here after the catacombs and we were literally the only people there which made the experience so much cooler. We felt like we found a secret attraction for at least 5 minutes before other visitors caught up (see photos) They are doing a wonderful reconstruction and you can walk all around and sit to feel like you... The ancient greek theatre is placed close to the catacombs, between Tripiti and Klima, the famous fishermen village directly on the sea. It seems really well -conserved by the time, a lot of original stone pieces are still present in the structure...and as you can imagine you feel all the magic mood of the ancient greek people sitting there, wacthing... The restoration is fantastic. A must see in Tripiti! It is now the new (old) theatre with flare. You can feel the history!
