Waves Too Rough but Nice Beach
Oct 2018 • Family
This beach is easily missed but once found is easy to access with a car park around 300 metres from the beach. The actual beach is nice although when we arrived the waves were too rough to snorkel which was very disappointing. I expect this beach would be better during the summer months. We visited in October.

Easter Week, and the tourists are about!!

Playa Rijana is a secluded, semi-nudist beach between Castell de Ferro and Motril, on the N340 road, in Andalucia, Spain. Access is by parking in the designated area, and walking down to the beach - about 300m; the beach is flat-stoned, with clear water ....... and very busy in the summer time.

Peaceful cove with great snorkelling.
Oct 2017 • Family
After reading some good reviews of this beach, we decided to head out and see for ourselves. It was a little difficult at first to find how we got down, but after watching a local fisherman leave the beach with his catch, we found the car-park at the top, which didn't look very inviting due to all the broken glass and bottles. Ignore this because after a short walk down through a tunnel you will find a lovely cove. We had bought provisions for the day and stayed until the sun went down. The kids found the snorkelling very good here because they didn't need to swim out far before finding schools of fish. Also we were watching a very brave man jumping off the little outcrop into the water. There were no facilities in October but this did not change our enjoyment of this beach. We would defiantly return if in the area.

Pretty cove, no facilities!
Sep 2017 • Friends
The promotional material for this beach will tell you that it has a little beach restaurant. We visited in September, and whilst it is very pretty there were no facilities. This meant that we couldn't stay as two of our party weren't swimming and there was no shelter or anywhere to pee!

Fabulous cove beach relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Though you do have to walk down the hill to get to it but well worth the effort

Nice family beach but be warned; no loos!
Sep 2016 • Family
This is a nice smallish, out of town beach made up of stones and course sand. It is surrounded by high cliffs and accessed by a short walk from the car park down a steep path and through a short tunnel. Facilities are basic, there is a small bar selling drinks and snacks but no public toilet which could be a problem for some.

We liked it and would come again. This is a beach that is perhaps better suited to a visit of a few hours rather than an all day trip. The high cliffs means that it starts going into shadow from late afternoon.

We Found Love where the sea shines bright like a Diamond
Jun 2016 • Family
It was a bit of Work finding the entrance but once we had it was time to Do Ya Thang and head on down through the tunnel to the beach.
My children loved Dancing in the Dark of the tunnels until one of them fell over and scrapped his knee.
Man Down.
I had to pick him up and Kiss It Better then head out into the sun.
It was like being Lost In Paradise.
We set up our towels and pointed our Umbrella Towards the Sun and decided to Stay for as long as we could.
The beach was so secluded my partner said it made her feel like the Only Girl In The World.
Like what you did down there was Nobody's Business. The quiet was Never Ending, like no one would ever Disturbia.
We stayed in the sun until our Skin went Numb.
Finally as we were Fading it was time to Get It Over With and Shut Up And Drive home.
But we took plenty of Photographs before finally saying Farewell.

Take A Bow Playa Rijana You Da One
Cheers
