About
The Museum of Lyckholm is situated in the stables of Saare manor. It was restored in 1995 and gives you an overview of the history of Noarootsi. It focuses on Estonian first independence period between 1918 to 1940. It also displays a collection of old domestic- and farming tools, which emphasises the collaboration between Esonians, Swedes, Germans and Finns living in the area. Good to know: Have you seen fossils dated to silur period? Coe and have a look!

Small museum in a tranquil area
Mar 2016 • Couples
The museum is located in the grounds of Saare Manor House and appears to be based in converted farm buildings / stables. Although there was a notice stating that the entry fee was €2 per adult, the museum wasn't open when we visited in early March. A peek through the windows appeared to show old farming tools but there could be more to the museum than this and a visit could have resulted in a higher (or lower) rating.

We did find, however, find that there were some well signposted walks in this area which after a couple of kilometres, took us to some observation platforms (which would be excellent in Mid-Spring for bird watching).
