This is one of the most beautiful places I've been. We didn't have a chance to hike because we've got kids, one with a stroller. So it's pretty difficult to go down there. However, we had the perfect view at the top.

We enjoyed visiting Emerald Bay and the beautiful view. The road is dangerous , be careful and make sure to stop and take lots of pictures

It's really nice part of the Lake Tahoe. Viewed from the cruiser or from the shore, looks always beautiful. It would be nice to get there by using city transportation. Unfortunately here is no option like that. Good business for taxi or Uber..... If you...More

If you do not intend to stay a couple of days in South Lake Tahoe you must drive around the Emerald Bay Highway because you can enjoy the view from the vista points. Be aware that parking is not free and not permited everywere.

Very nice place to view the beautiful scenery of Lake Tahoe, and Emerald Bay. Picture taking reigns here! Parking is a nightmare--very few spots, and everyone is trying to get an open spot. Worth the stop, though!

We drove the 25-mile Lake Tahoe-East Shore Drive along Highways 50 and 28 between the state line and Incline Village. It's a beautiful drive with stops along the way for pictures. Emerald Bay was the most beautiful spot to me along the route but all...More

Had a blast hiking in this area. I went on thanksgiving day and there were only a few people there. Great scenery. I’d recommend a wide angle and long focus lens. #DogFriendly #Photography

It is about a mile each way, but the slope is manageable if you take your time. The road is crushed stone, so you might even be able to use a stroller if it has large wheels. There were some mini water fall cascades along... More

The lake water is cold. The weather at Lake Tahoe has been in the 80's BUT if you are on the lake and it gets windy it can become quite cold. We took a boat ride and it was 85 degrees but the wind kicked up and became very... More
