This is a large, long sandy beach with shallow, clean water and beautiful mountain views. The water warms up by last week or so of July and through August. It's still too cold for some, but kids love it. Near by is the Carcross Commons...More

Fun spot for pallet fires! Dogs like this place too. Carcross is the next Brooklyn, if Brooklyn had big lakes and mountains and mountain bike trails

What an interesting place. The sandy beach and the surrounding area is worth the stop. We enjoyed our stroll through the Carcross desert. Not much for groceries, so bring your own and nothing opens early.
