A great place to steel 8 picnic, stop for ice-cream etc. A great afternoon activity. There are always a lot of festivals going on and there is a riverboat tour you can also take. It is stunning scenery all 4 seasons.

The atmosphere at the Meewasin Valley Center is very relaxing. The scenery is beautiful and untouched. The displays are well done and very informative. The native cultural displays are very authentic and beautiful.

The Meewasin Valley is a wonderful place to go for a walk and experience nature at her finest. There are many walking paths and all of this area is very well maintained. A great place to go for a picnic and to be close to the South Saskatchewan River.

If you like river sights and a comfortable walk through the downtown or other side of the river this is the best place to go for it all.

Usually something going on here in the summer if not there is the spray park and trails to walk down. Winter there is an ice skating area and ice sculptures

During the summer season, there is so much to do. You can often find concerts, activities, and markets here during the summer. The trails are great for walking, biking, and running and are always well-kept.

Lots of great places for photo ops. I would recommend this place in the fall time. Just be prepared to share the spot with the rest of the shutter bugs

Thank you for your review. The Meewasin Trail is definitely a photographer's dream, with so many picturesque locations along the way. The trail runs along both sides of the river, winding under the bridges, and through beautifully landscaped parks and natural areas. Residents and visitors flock to the trail to cycle, jog, stroll or simply gaze at the scenery. More

We have often walked these trails with family. There's something for everyone in the grassy parks to play frisbee, the close river to kayak, paddle board and canoe, the children's spray park and benches to just sit and watch.

Great place to walk the dog or just walk and enjoy the outdoors. If you wish you can take family or friends and have a picnic or BBQ at the picnic grounds. If you wish, you can walk along the river or stay up on the paved path.

Thank you for your review! Meewasin Park is one of many picturesque destinations along the Meewasin Trail. It is a favourite among many families for its playground and picnic areas, green space, and natural habitat along the riverbank. Head further south along the Meewasin Trail to experience other attractions and the downtown area, or head north to find Wanuskewin Heritage... More
