Apparently it's much nicer in summer. I was here in December, its a free walk around the lake, it's peaceful and has some wildlife.

This is one of the hidden gems in Canada, walk around the lake in any season and it's a great experience. Regina and the province have made this a year round pleasure.

A pleasant circle tour had only one difficult spot (for driving tour) at its eastern end. Otherwise our drive-and -walk tour was great.

Certainly a place to visit. In the summer, bring bread to feed the Canadian Geese! Truly amazing that this is a man made lake....you would never know!
