I always enjoy walking around Wascana Lake. The paths can be narrow so keep this in mind if travelling with a stroller, bicycle or large group. You must keep your eyes up at all times. The water and ducks and geese that cohabit the area...More

I haven’t lived in Regina for quite some time, but this is one of my first stops - summer or winter - to take a walk and collect my thoughts. No more beautiful place and friendly warm people. A definite MUST!

A gorgeous park that I am told goes across the width of Regina and is one of the largest city parks in North America. The park surrounds Wascana Lake and is across from the provincial legislature. Lots of places for picnics, many trails for walking...More

I live in Regina and take every opportunity to bike and walk in the park. This is a fabulous green oasis that runs diagonally through a major part of Regina. Kudo's to the urban planners that guard the vision for the park and the staff...More

We are still it winter but spring will be here soon and with it the beautiful flower displays and greenery everywhere. There are roadways throughout the park for viewing the park and open areas for walking or just enjoying the outdoors.

A walk around the lake is like a mini-trip out of the city. The staff do a great job maintaining the park and keeping the walkways clear in the winter. It is a place I enjoy often.

So much to do, biking track around the lake, rental canoe, bar and restaurant, tennis court, near by science center and Imax theater.

I stayed in an AirB&B near this park. Perfect running loop, if you like jogging. Lost a point for the masses of Canada geese! A few nice areas to sit, quite scenic for a small city. Very relaxing!

Wascana Lake is a major natural attraction in Regina. It is a man-made lake and over the years has been expertly landscaped to reflect indigenous plants, trees and bushes. A wide walkway encircles the lake. Our early morning walk saw a good number of locals...More

Yes. I see many people rollerblading on the trails and walkways around the Lake. I don't believe there are any restrictions, so you should be able to rollerblade where ever you want.

You absolutely can rollerblade. Be care full of some potholes and ruts that will eat the tiny wheels. They’re mainly to the south and east of the lake. There’s also a few gravel trails near the boat docks.
