We recently (as we have often done) attended a production at Regina's Globe Theatre. This is one of the best theatres offering high calibre drama with theatre in the round staging. Props are minimalist but very effective. There is virtually not a bad seat in the house. The atmosphere is always warm and exciting. Globe is one of the gems... More

Last night was my first trip to the venue. From the ticket booth to the usher, all the ladies were friendly and professional. There is truly not a bad seat in the house with their theatre in the round concept. Comfortable seats and good acoustics. A friend and I saw "Millionaire Quartet" last night and it was 2-1/2 hours of... More

We went to see Million Dollar Quartet at the Globe Theatre and had a great time! The actors were really good - you could close your eyes and really imagine you were listening to Johnny Cash and Elvis. Only problem I had with the venue was the amount of stairs there were to climb. Being a bit disabled, they did... More

The shows in the Globe are beautifully well done, and I love that it pays homage to the Globe in London, England. It is very sophisticated. You will want to look at the line-up and choose the show that best suits the crowd you are with. The venue has stairs as well as an elevator to accommodate everyone. They also... More

Was given tickets to see Romeo and Juliet. The cast was phenomenal! Fabulous show. Only down fall is it was too cold in there.

One of the most beautiful buildings in this town. Wish we had a chance to see how it looks inside. Maybe some other time...

I didnt feel this was very appropriate for children. The Christmas performance is perceived as a performance for the whole family. This fell short ans was very dark.

This place is good, I went for a class in university and I don't regret it. I am going again to see a play of Sherlock Holmes, Hounds of Baskerville my all time favourite novel and am so excited! This theatre is ultimately the best in Regina!

I've been an ongoing Globe Theatre fan for many years and over the last couple of years I find myself asking why. I recently saw the "Snow Queen" aka the poor mans "Lord of the Rings". The writing was TERRIBLE - the kind of quality you would see at a high school - the kind of quality that would be... More
