More like a boulevard but not divided. The end close to Parliament is street cafe after street cafe. Charming and every kind of food you could want.

The Grande Allee is full of beautiful architecture and lovely sidewalk cafes with delicious food; we also saw street performers that were terrific

Lots of people enjoying a drink or meal on a nice partly cloudy day. Wide selection of restaurants, from chains to breweries to fine dining. But there can be a lot of vehicle traffic, depending on the time of day.

Composed mostly or restaurants pretty much all with outside eating. This two or so block district is packed on Friday and Saturday nights with a younger crowd hitting the Dagobert nightclub and other drinking spots. Can get rowdy late at night.

I had read about how fun this street can be at night or during certain times of the year. For us, it was merely a beautiful street on which to walk, surrounding by architecture and the smell of local eateries.
