We walked down this city street to visit a location we had been to 20 years ago. The architecture is diverse and it's enjoyable to view. Even though we were walking while a labor protest was taking place, we felt safe and we were never...More

What a nice street welcoming you to Quebec city. The architecture is interesting, the setting of Quebec is inviting. New and old live well together. A nice walk on Grande Allee is really nice.

Either a good place for day time or night time. Lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy. If you like terasse it has plenty for a beer to enjoy people walking by.

Lovely to walk along this avenue. There are nice older homes, the newer building stick out oddly in the neighborhood.. seems zoning failed a bit on this block. Turn town Avenue Cartier for a lively walk with great street lamps!

Nice street- great views, one of the ways to reach old Quebec. Any restaurant here is good - we tried several - nice people, very good service, great food. Must go place for either an afternoon beer or dinner

Thoroughly enjoyed walking along the street and was content just to take in the many sites including old world architecture, and many bars and cafes. A great place to just relax and walk. Well worth a visit.

it's wonderful location in Quebec, maybe not so quiet but hotel window density it's very well, breakfast is simply but it delicious..... room is big than Hilton The only one thing bad for girl......no elevator

This is an interesting street that turns into rue St. Louis once it enters the old walled city. Once one walks through the gate, one feels as if one had walked into France.
