Bijoux Bleu is an independent family business where the distinguished products are made in Quebec, without exception, hence the name of the shop Bijoux Bleu, inspired by our national color.
It was during the summer of 2007 that the concept of Bijoux Bleu is born. The Idea comes from personal observation of the total absence of Quebec products jewellery. Finding interesting that Quebec craftsmanship is recognized only by tourist areas and customers, we gave ourselves the first mission to promote the Quebec fashion and make it accessible to the local Quebec customers through original and quality products.
After majoring in business management and after various market studies, several contacts made with local suppliers at trade shows or meetings in the workshops, the final concept of the shop was born in the summer of 2009.
After working on the marketing, merchandising, found a Boutique style, established our brand, chose the image that we want to promote, we have opened our doors on the 17 of August 2011 at the Galeries de la Capitale in Quebec City, who were then looking for different products and customer’s approach to what was already being done.
Among the jewelry we have offered to our customers since our opening, you will recognize Anne-Marie Chagnon, Nes, Stella by Isabel Desy, Osmose by Sonia Ferland, Christine Philippe, Christophe Poly, Mathieu Roy, Bleuet d'Art, Sylvie Germain Rimanchik, Art-Eli by Elisabeth Poulin, Sid Kassidy by Kim Bergeron.
Since July 27 of 2012, Bijoux Bleu also offers its own line of jewelry handmade in Quebec: Sebejo (the mixture of the first names of the two owners of the shop, Sebastien and Joachim).
Over the years, Sebejo has become increasingly popular among Bijoux Bleu as to be also sold in other shops of Old Quebec, Mont-Tremblant and France. Known for their difference and originality Sebejo is now the fer-de-lance of the company and will emerge this fall in several shops across Canada.
