All of the Old part of Québec city (Le Vieux-Québec) is beautiful. The Upper town is a nice place to walk, admire the architecture and a lot of shops, good for window shopping!

Visited Quebec in October to avoid the summer crowds and enjoy the autumn weather. My hotel was in Upper Town, so I could easily walk about throughout the day. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee cafes and pubs around all in walking distance. Head up...More

I really enjoyed just wandering around the upper town at all times of day. Scenic streets with lots of small shops and always people around.

Unfortunately it rained the entire day we explored Upper Town. I asked for advice from other Trip Advisor reviewers as to what to do on a rainy day and we did follow some of the suggestions. But we had raincoats and umbrellas so we kept...More

The city is very walkable and we just loved looking at all the buildings and shops. You can buy a ticket for a hop on hop off bus but we found that it was just as easy to walk from place to place and not...More

Loved staying in the center of this beautiful area of Quebec City with a beautiful and quaint European feel. From here you can see beautiful architecture, the St. Lawrence River, mountains and experience wonderful restaurants, museums and walks.

Loved this part of town. Almost all the stores, shops and restaurants have plants and flowers in the flower boxes and hanging plants or potted plants. I was there at the beginning of October and the plants all looked so fresh. Some of them had...More

The views of lower Quebec and the water are quite spectacular from the Upper Town. There are statues here, restaurants, and quaint buildings. The impressive Fairmont Chateau Frontenac hotel is also here. It really resembles a European city. There are cobblestones around the city so...More

The hop on hop off bus tour was quite pricey. I believe it was close to 40 dollars Canadian per/person. We opted to walk and see everything on foot.
