One of Quebec’s best-kept secrets is the ferry ride to the town of Levis (directly across the St. Lawrence River) and the spectacular view of the city. Located at the heart of Old Québec, the roundtrip takes about 45 minutes. Daily year-round 6 a.m.-2:20 a.m.

We enjoyed renting bikes from Echo sports then doing the loop around the bike trail, over a bridge and crossing back to Quebec City on the ferry. However, we were glad that wasn't our only ferry crossing. IT IS SPECTACULAR at night! Besides the pretty...More

My wife and I took the ferry to Levis while visiting Quebec City. It was a beautiful sunny day and the view was very clear but somewhat unimpressive. I think after dark might be more colorful as the city lights would be much more attractive....More

For $7.10 you get a ride which includes maybe 6 mins actually making the crossing. If you're attempting to get from A to B, then I guess the ferry works pretty well. I went because it was a recommended 'thing to do' but was really...More

Very nice short trip. Unfortunately the weather was terrible so we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful small perk in Levis.

We stayed at Place d'Armes, a boutique hotel across the street from the Chateau Frontenac. If you walk down the steps to the bottom of the escarpment, the ferry arrives and departs right there.
