One of Quebec’s best-kept secrets is the ferry ride to the town of Levis (directly across the St. Lawrence River) and the spectacular view of the city. Located at the heart of Old Québec, the roundtrip takes about 45 minutes. Daily year-round 6 a.m.-2:20 a.m.

Driving a 28.5' RV around the narrow twisty streets of Quebec is daunting & there are few places to park. We found a great RV campground (Martiniere) in Levis. We took a taxi ($17) to the ferry terminal and rode over, enjoying the view as...More

We were tired and hot as we had been on our feet exploring all day. None of us wanted to commit to a full sightseeing cruise but thought a short ride on the water would be refreshing. We figured too (correctly) that we'd have great...More

Short trip goes every 30 mins on the hour and half past in each direction. Cold drinks machine on board, sit out or in. Tickets cost 3 CAD each way for seniors, I think 3.50 for others. Once over you can stroll in the nice...More

I would strongly advise a short ferry ride to Levis! Excellent pedestrian service (it does take cars) and easy access into the little town which is having a fortune spent on it at present. The cost is modest and there is a concession for the...More

The short journey across the St. Lawrence was a highlight of our visit and yet we were really only killing time before departing for Montreal. Within 100 metres of the ferry terminal on the Levis side there are 20 or so fixed loungers where you...More

The ferry is more for automobiles commuting but not much more for travel or tourist value - it's a very short ride but the views are great and you can explore the other side of the St. Lawrence and go to Isle d'Orleans to breweries...More

We took the ferry on a Sunday afternoon to Levis from lower town. We didn't ask anyone first (and should have) but most of old town Levis is closed on Sunday. We walked around though. When you arrive, there are steps (many many many steps)...More

I've been hearing for years that the Quebec-Lévis ferry is a great way to get breathtaking views of Quebec City, but it's only on my most recent visit that I finally did this trip--and it was so worth it! For a mere $7.10 return, you...More

This boat goes from the pier at the bottom of old town to the Just OK water fall. Not worth the money. Drive over and park $12.00 then you can see the water fall close up.

We stayed in an Airbnb near ferry terminal in Levis. Québec old city is about 10 minutes boat ride and the ferry comes every half an hour. Sunset view is spectacular.

Hello, does this run at night? I would like to be able to take the ferry from the city to Levis to do a few long exposure photographs and then take the ferry back to the city. Any help is much appreciated. Merci!!!
