This is a beautiful basilica that is worth a quick visit. Great architecture and stylistic artwork humbles you, in addition to the simple grandeur of the building. Also, I got lucky and happened to be there when the choir and organist were practicing, and it...More

Beautiful, only down side was the cathedral was undergoing a renovation so the alter area etc was blocked off by a huge tarp. Nice part was the tarp actually had a picture of what it would look like when done

On full restoration during our visit, so I feel quite uncomfortable to review it, but according to the pictures I believe it will be stunning when they finish it. I wish to be lucky enough to see it again soon.

Absolutely beautiful building. The detail and workmanship in this place is above and beyond. Go by and look for yourselves.

Although under construction in parts, this was nonetheless a beautiful cathedral. Well worth walking through or sitting quietly reflecting. For $2 you can light a candle and I recommend making a donation, it is well worth it.

Notre Dame is currently being restored. While it is still open I'm sure the grandeur will be much more impressive once it is completed.

Church is currently undergoing renovations. This is also a very beautiful church attracting many tourists in the Old Quebec area. There is also a section of the church that is devoted to St. Francois de Laval, one of Canada's saints.

There were renovations at the time when I visited but the Church was still open to visitors. In it I found a very peaceful place to reflect and marvel at its beauty. I have no better way to describe the altar except it's truly beautiful....More

We will be visiting Quebec by cruise ship. I would like to know if we can walk to Notre-Dame from the cruise port.

I Believe many of these photos, and some of these reviews are for the entirely wrong church. One review is in French, and the other is in by reviewer, Two Hundred Days... Or perhaps, this is located elsewhere within the complex?

I believe the Cathedrale mentioned above is in the Old City within Quebec City. This is within walking distance from most areas of downtown near the old city. It is also a gorgeous church.

We were in Quebec City for our son's wedding in mid September. Some guests stayed just around the block from the basilica. Couldn't tell you the price or any other information, but the lady who owns the place is: Anie... More
