If you are looking for a place to cool off or warm up: this is it. The mall is not very big but pretty with some nice decorations. In terms of shopping: the stores in it are nothing special. Don't go out of your way!

This lovely mall is right next to the Quartier des Spectacles that has a year-long activity and events agenda. It also faces the Place des Arts, the home of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and a few smaller theatres all in the same edifice. The Complexe Desjardins is like a mini city, with boutiques and stores catering to every need; an awesome food court with international cuisine choices; a Hyatt Hotel connected through the inside; bars and restaurants and very importantly, given our freezing winters, an underground connection to the subway, as well to the famous Underground City!  In fine weather, it's a walkable distance to many sites, shopping, fine restaurants, art museums and galleries!
