Saw a lot there I don't usually see in my local markets. Very colorful fresh place. Tasted some excellent just shucked oysters. There also is an excellent fromagerie across the street.

I'm a sucker for markets, and had already thoroughly enjoyed Marche Atwater during our trip, but I was so glad we stopped here on our way out of town! Stalls with prepared foods, cheeses, produce, fresh flowers extend as far as the eye can see.

The market is a 10-minute walk from the metro station. I believe there is also underground paid parking for those who drive. Street parking would be a challenge. This is a foodie heaven with lots of cafes& eateries, gourmet chocolatier, bakeries, fresh produce, fresh fish...More
