Great neighborhood to stroll and enjoy the architecture and brightly painted facades. There are parks to sit and relax, and cafes to people watch. Even if you are not staying here or going to one of the terrific restaurants, its worth the trip. Sherbrooke stop...More

We have family living here ,so we got to know the area very well. Very family oriented area, lovely parks nearby ,and lots of stores for shopping and restaurants for dining. Loved the tree lined shady streets.

Mount Royal st is a Fun place for strolling with a good selection of coffe shops and eateries, book stores and funky resale shops. The perpendicular streets are quiet and shaded when you need a break.

We enjoyed taking in the style and design of this area not to mention the ability to have a beer outside when the sun did shine - and do it safely. A quirky place and ideal area to take in en route to the park...More

The Plateau is my favorite place to walk in Montreal because I just love the different staircases. I usually walk one side and then the other so I can see all of them.
