This is a nice neighborhood to stroll through and take in the colors and staircases. There are some nice places to grab a bite or some coffee to keep you going during your adventure.

Beautiful time of year to walk the Plateau. I loved the tree lined (fall foliage) residential streets with small two story buildings, nice main street with lots of young people and families.

We stayed in the 3900 block of Rue St. Denis. We loved the tree-lined street, the little side 'avenues' with restaurants and shops and the proximity to the Mont Royal park.

I love Scotland and I love France. So I suppose the 'Plateau Mont-Royal' area was made for me.. The truly iconic Scottish homes, only differentiated from Edinburgh or Dundee by the trademark Montreal high staircases, built to deal with snow blocking lower doorways, stand side...More

We stayed in the Plateau. We could easily walk to cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and shoe stores. We took the subway and Uber around Montreal. Both were very easy. I would recommend booking away from downtown, so you can have a taste of the Montreal...More
