Unity is located in the heart of the gay village of Montreal. With 2 rooms, a VIP lounge and large terrace on the roof, Unity is recognized to be a place where we have fun in a friendly, festive and respectful environment. Unity is a place that appeals to a varied and diverse clientele that likes to party in a relaxed and unpretentious club. Concerned about the quality of its events, the Unity team offers parties that live up to its reputation. On its 3 floors, Unity offers 2 different styles of music every night, entertainment, animation, and drags, a gorgeous crowd and much more.

On A Saturday Night, It's The Most Fun We've Had In Montreal

TripAdviser calls this Unity Pub, but it's definitely a club/discoteque. There is a roof-top patio in the summer with 2-3 service-bars for drinks and a good amount of seating... read more

This place was ok! The music was really good but it was empty! The Sri ma are not strong at all since they use the measuring to the T. Beers are quiet expensive compared to other bars in the area. This place is pretty cool thought! It has about four different areas including a roof top. The service is great!... More

Went here on a friday night after midnight. The music was ok. Not many patrons for a friday night. Not sure where everyone was. The music was ok. Those that were there were pretty much just standing around talking in little groups. We moved on.

Friends took me here for my birthday, I had a great time. Because my birthday falls in the summer we were able to celebrate on the rooftop. Nice experience. I liked the music and the drinks were relatively good and decent prices. I have not been in years but if it has not changed from the way it was before... More

The music was amazing, the drag queen shot girls were a great touch and the live dance performances were so much fun to watch!

ATMOSPHERE: It is good for clubbers under 30 and perfect for those in their early 20s or teenagers. Sometimes they can get in and they are not even 18, you can see that. There are a lot of "twinks", if you know what I mean. They literally run around the place, from one floor to the other, back and forth,... More

TripAdviser calls this Unity Pub, but it's definitely a club/discoteque. There is a roof-top patio in the summer with 2-3 service-bars for drinks and a good amount of seating. It's a nice place to start your night or to come to later to cool off after some dancing! There is often a discount on the cover-charge (payment to enter the... More

Club Unity in Montreal is one of the largest clubs that city has to offer. A very low key gay and straight club has much to offer. A diverse array of DJ's from all over the world. A dance floor known the world over. Found on the famous Ste Catherine street. I definately would put it on the must see... More

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighbourhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
