We were split in 2 groups of 12. One group learned how to make 2 cocktails while the other group started the cutting and preparation of the appetizers. We then switched and the first group finished up the appetizers. It was fun and great team work. However, I don't think it was appropriate for Xmas party. I prefer to be... More

We were there as a group of 19 people for an office Christmas event. We took the cooking and cocktail combo. The group gets divided in 2. One group does the cocktail class while the other does the cooking, and then we switch. We get to do 1 cocktail only. That is way too little for an experience that is... More

Took a cocktail class for a group of 9 for a bachelorette party and had the best time! Seemed a bit pricy for just 2 cocktails but it was a great and fun experience, worth it in my opinion

Good food, positive vibes and lovely staff!! It was an amazing experience to share time with my wife and meet new friends! Just one detail: All the classes are in French 😳, but you can enjoy it! Language is not a barrier for a good time!!

We did a cocktail and cooking class at Ateliers & Saveurs and it was phenomenal! The staff are great, really hands on and informative and just a really fun experience. While I would never cook anything we made again, nor make the cocktail, it was delicious!

Went there for work with about 60 ppl. From the mixologist, to the wine & the food everything is very curated and delicious. My firs stop was drink - I asked for an alcohol base, told my mixologist I don't like sweets and I love flowers. A pretty pink cocktail appeared in my hand. Then I stopped at the wine... More

Although the food and the wine were quite good, the experience itself wasn't very stimulating. I understand that for time's sake, the chef had to prepare many recipes at once, but it ended up being confusing, as we couldn't properly listen to all the interesting information he was serving at once because we were busy doing other tasks (i.e. It... In the last two weeks, my husband and I attended 2 different wine tasting classes. Both times, we had Yan as our wine expert. He was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, charismatic and kind. He made wine tasting fun and accessible to beginners. We really liked how he encouraged group participation and managed to make us all feel like we... More

If you ever want to get in on the action in the kitchen, make a booking to have a super fun night to master making a great dish and try pairing different wines. The setting is like a big test kitchen with lots of character, a dining area and the place to have private wine tastings too. Great staff that... More

I went there for a cooking class and I must say that the location and kitchen is outstanding and well organized. The food we made was also delicious, and everything was great except for two things. The cook asked at the beginning if anyone had allergies. Some girl said sea food and I said gluten (I am celiac). The chef... More

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
