Has a special place in Quebec's history. President De Gaule making his famous declaration from the premises. Nice architecture, inside and out. A few exhibits about the history and locale. Mostly in French. Worth 30 minutes of your time.

A grand building in Old Montreal, near Place Cartier. Chateau Ramezay. The seasonal plantings are beautiful, as is the area in general.

This is a beautiful structure facing Place Jacques Cartier. It is attractively illuminated at night. On weekday afternoons during the summer, they offer a free guided English tour. This was one of the best public building tours we have ever taken, rich in history including...More
