We went in and out of this building often during our vacation to access the Metro into Chinatown. The building is so large and so beautiful. Worth a visit. Thinking of staying at the hotel here next trip.

Place d'Armes is a convenient inner city park with mostly stone pavers, a statue of the founder of the city is there. Great place to people watch, rest, and possibly have lunch. The Notre-Dame Basilica is across the street.

The Place d'Armes is a large public square facing the Basilica. Nothing special, but part of the experience of Old Montreal.

Nice Historic Square across from the Basilica Notre Dame. Pedestrian friendly and there were street performers there while we were walking around.

Surrounded by historic buildings and in front of Notre-Dame Basilica, Place d’Armes is an essential place to visit. It provides a panorama that includes the city’s first bank (The Bank of Montréal) and the city’s first skyscraper (the New York Life Building).

Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to
some of the city's most antiquated buildings and
picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St.
Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums,
festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a
celebrated part of the city that explodes into
fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its
centre, street performers and artists compete with

Most of the parking near the Basilica is street, parallel parking. Also, I know there was at least one small lot a block from the Basilica.
