Attended a baseball game on April 1, 2017. Picked up two burger combos. Buns were soggy, flattened and saturated with mayo (did they make them yesterday and leave them under the heat lamps). Meat was cold and full of gristle. One slice of tomato and small piece of iceberg lettuce size of a toonie were slapped on the side. Horrible.... More

Just saw the Blue Jays beat the Pirates in exhibition game number 2! Great to see the Jays in this historic venue but its age really shows. Washrooms have 5 toilets! Each bathroom in the Skydome aka Rogers Centre has about 20. Before going, I searched high and low online for info about what food is available to purchase and... More

Descent venue for a ball game, saw back to back exhibition games. Good and beer vendors were great. However at the first game it became apparent they had sold seats to ticket holders and the seats had been removed, the second game it rained and the stadium was leaking everywhere : / Getting the game was very efficient by using... Awesome way to spend part of your day in Montreal. The tour guide was super friendly and made the tour that much more enjoyable. Very knowledgeable and overall quality experience! Can't beat the view from the center of the stadium!

We have visited the olympic stadium with my parents earlier this year. We have noticed the swimming pool area is completely new and modernized. We also wanted to visit the tower for a view, but it seems to be in a maintenance mode during January every year. Tip: If you want to visit the tower too, make sure you are... More

They use the stadium here and there, but the fact is that it was never that pretty to begin with, and after the Montreal Expos moved out, it fell on some disrepair and it is not a sight to take time to see.

Six adult members of my family and I went to the Stadium not really knowing what to expect. We arranged for a tour and were very happy not only with the knowledge we gained, but also the humor and personality of our tour guide, Jeff. There were people from three different countries and many cities in the larger tour group.... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
