I love history and when I got to the Battery and saw the cannons, I was surprised by how real they looked. I imagined what it might have been like back then and how far the cannon balls would shoot off shore. How many sunken...More

This is the most interesting part of Victoria Park, and makes for the obvious stopping off point for the casual visitor to the park. The views from here are good, but if driving it might be harder to find a spot on busy days.

Was a great walk along the boardwalk and up to see this. Was very interesting to see what they would have seen in the days of that era

This is a pleasant area to walk and enjoy the harbor area. The old gun battery is interesting in that such a small gun battery could protect the island.

Beautiful day at a beautiful park. My husband is a "fort" nut so he was happy with the Battery. Nice viewing area.

we saw this on the double decker hippo bus tour. We would have missed it otherwise. Was very interesting to know that the cannons have never been shot and that PEI was only invaded once and they kidnapped an official and stole a seal which...More

If you've seen one old cannon, you've pretty well seen them all, so don't go to Victoria Park just to see the Battery. However, the park offers a very nice view of the city, and lots of parking nearby. It's opposite to the entrance to...More
