An exquisite oasis, just minutes from major city intersections. A quite interlude. Beautiful bricked paths through sculpted gardens. Shrubs and blooms, a rainbow array of colour , and such attention to detail. A delight for the senses, take the time to stroll, or just park and wander to a bench to experience a quite interlude with nature as you hear... More

I enjoy it there..loves the flowers, but really miss the rose gardens. Too bad they got rid of them. Enjoyable place for all age groups.

Looking for picture perfect gardens for your wedding or prom pictures? Practically everyone comes to Jackson Park for pictures in the Sunken Gardens. Extremely busy on the weekends for these pictures but still enough park that everyone can come relax and enjoy the settings

I grew up a block from here. I've always enjoyed this park, especially the sunken gardens. The Lancaster bomber may not be there anymore, but the Spitfire and Hurricane are a respectful addition.

Many years ago a large area around near where the planes are (one plane at that time) had beautiful roses of every colour and discription. Unfortunately that was not to be perpetuated down the road because now they are non existant.

This is a very beautiful park and we went in the winter time. Very large provides a wonderful time for nice long walks or bike rides. We can't wait to explore all of it's beauty when the weather gets really nice.
