The park has gorgeous green grass and is quite large. Great place to take pictures with your family / on special occasions, etc. There are gorgeous trees throughout the park and the grounds are very well-tended.

Great park in the downtown area. The Lancaster bomber is gone, but there is a Spitfire mounted here. Lock your cars as there have been incidences of break -ins. But otherwise a family friendly park for strolling.

Looking for picture perfect gardens for your wedding or prom pictures? Practically everyone comes to Jackson Park for pictures in the Sunken Gardens. Extremely busy on the weekends for these pictures but still enough park that everyone can come relax and enjoy the settings

I grew up a block from here. I've always enjoyed this park, especially the sunken gardens. The Lancaster bomber may not be there anymore, but the Spitfire and Hurricane are a respectful addition.

I don't know the hours the restrooms are open. They were closed for maintenance when I was there.
