This is the place to come if you're looking for a sophisticated crowd. The music is less frenzied, and you might even manage a conversation. The dance area is a loftlike space. In the back, there's a cigar bar furnished with Oriental rugs and comfortable armchairs, plus two pool tables. The dress code in effect is "smart casual" (collared shirts, no jeans or caps).

We went for Summerlicious On July 22, 2016. The portions are miniscule. The menu says that you get a chilled soup which we didn't receive. Instead we got another amuse bouche a tiny brioche. The canneloni of salmon gravlax was the width of your index finger. The warm goat salad was also small. The best appetizer for taste and portion... More

Went here during Winterlicious 2015, table of 6. It was the coldest night of the winter until later in the week. Loved the checking in, door man, hostess then another hostess to make sure we found our table. Taking the freight elevator to the dining room floor was fun. Have a hipster elevator driver, little statues in the elevator shaft... More

This place has everything from fine dining to night time dancing!! The ladies are always dressed up and look sexy. The bartenders are super nice and the music is always great!! I have been to many night clubs around TO and this is a great spot considering how cookie cutter the rest of the clubs are in Toronto. I even... More

The club is well located in the entertainment district downtown Toronto although it's not easy to spot and the Toronto cabbies look mystified if you ask for it. The door staff, in my opinion are professional and I found them courteous given some of the late night idiots they have to put up with, it's the way it is in... More

My friend didnt feel well at the club and threw up in the garbage bin on July 15 and he wasn't drunk! The staffs ( an asian guy and a short Caucasian) immediately grabbed him and pushed him out to the club and not letting him go to toilet! My friend was sober and could even walked on his own... Just wanted to share my experience about "the fifth social club" The attitude from the bouncers on Saturday nite (May 29th) was appalling, not only were they rude when we asked to be let in sooner they were also disrespectful. I understand that the "main" crowd is in their early 20's but that is no reason to look disdainfully on... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
