Unfortunately when I visited this centrally located Toronto park, it was rainy and overcast. This did not detract from the wonderful greenery of established trees while on sunnier days the ability to play ball games here must be a huge attraction. There was an adequate nunber of park benches from which to people watch or relax. I visited this using... More

I love relaxing at this park with friends. It's a great spot for a picnic, or to play frisbee/baseball/soccer. It's a large, beautiful space right in the centre of the city. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Perfect spot for a rest if you're visiting the city.

Whether you're visiting Toronto or live here, the huge and beautiful Trinity Bellwoods Park and its surrounding cafes and shops is a must. The park itself has many beautiful trees to sit under, park benches, tennis courts, a children's playground, with climbers and swings, a paddling pool and a nearby Community Centre, with a swimming pool. Opposite the park, on... More

It's a park….not sure what to say really except it is nice addition the neighbourhood where many people in Toronto can hopefully appreciate having some real green space. It can be especially enjoyable in the warmer months were people can be doing many different activities from drumming, to fireworks to cultural events where I swear it sounded like someone was... I lived right by Trinity Bellwoods Park for a few years and loved how much happens here. One day it could be just walking the dog in the park, the next there was a food event, the weekend after was an arts fair etc always something going on. Lovely place to visit and the shops near by are great.

Thank tsummerlin

Staying in Queen Street and West Queen West

Neighbourhood Profile
Queen Street and West Queen West
Known as the Art & Design District, West Queen West is one of the most energetic and dynamic of Toronto's neighborhoods. Along with its great modernist museums, clubs, and restaurants, it's home to some of the funkiest specialty shops, ranging from clothing to stationary to collectables, and caters to niche and vintage shoppers of all kinds. That makes it a mecca for creatives, including hobbyists designers, writers, and painters. With ink on their hands and fabric pelts in their bags, visitors to Queen Street traverse the avant-garde blend of historic architecture and ultra-contemporary fare. Home to some of Toronto's chicest hotels and most modish java fixes, busy with street cars, and always suffused with live music drifting onto packed patios at bars and clubs by nightfall, the vibrancy of West Queen West is undeniable.
