This is a beautiful theater. Great old theatre in downtown Toronto. Beautiful building. It's a beautiful space for a theatre show. In the theatre you can take the time to soak in the authentic look of the original architecture and decor. It has wonderful acoustics. Staff was all very friendly. Close to the Eaton Center. There are lots of parking lots within walking distance or take an easy public transit trip. I highly recommend.

Show as cancelled on March 8 and after filling out two refund forms, sending four emails and calling every two weeks to be but on perma hold. I have run out of patience.

My daughter and I had gone too see Hamilton, and may I say we both had absolutely loved the experience. The theatre it self was stunning and the performance was very clean and no stumbling upon the actors themselves. We had absolutely enjoyed the way the actors delivered the show, (especially the actors who play King George, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington). This show and theatre is a great way to share memories and moments.

Exquisite classic theatre. All the timeless elegance lost in so many new environments. You can sit anywhere and enjoy the magnificent performance. And...bonus...you can take your drink and snacks into the theatre and enjoy. The patrons were all very respectful and there were no distracting behaviours (phone, eating, chatting).

The Ed Mirvish is, I think, now my favourite of the Mirvish theatres. It desperately needs more bathrooms, however! Hamilton was absolutely incredible! My mom and I are season subscribers in Ottawa, so we will be seeing it in May, but we knew once wouldn't be enough, so I am glad we decided to buy tickets for Toronto, too! The entire cast was really incredible, but standouts were Joseph Morales as Hamilton, Jared Dixon as Burr (he was recently Simba in the touring production of The Lion King that came through Toronto over the summer), Ta'Rea Campbell as Angelica, Warren Egypt Franklin as Lafayette/Jefferson (ESPECIALLY as Jefferson), and Marcus Choi as Washington. I had waited so long to finally see this show, and it did not disappoint. I'm still in a state of disbelief that I actually saw it! And the Ed Mirvish was such a perfectly beautiful venue.
