I've been part of True North for close to 4 years and have been fond of the staff and many new climbers. The route setting is top of the line and the youth program is excellent. A must visit if you're an indoor climbing enthusiast.

The place is great, I'm sure, if you're a seasoned climber. Otherwise, be sure to get ready to be looked down upon. On top of their rude attitudes, they seem to have a general disregard for customers waiting at the service counter and you can...More

True North is a really awesome climbing gym. Their top rope routes are awesome, giving a lot of different dynamic options for climbers. Bouldering is good but generally fairly crowded, especially when the youth team is practicing. Would benefit from some expansion. Staff are good,...More

Yes, safety is absolutely our top priority at all times, and we work hard to keep our gym as safe as possible. We require a belay test before anyone is allowed to belay in our facility. We certify our instructors with the CWA and/or ACMG....More

North York
North York is one of Toronto's most culturally diverse
neighborhoods. Home to a number of cultural events
throughout the year that celebrate the city's varied
ethnic communities, it's always worthwhile to see
what's going on in the area. Its cross-section of
inhabitants include students and long-time residents,
giving North York an eclectic feeling of being both
local and international. Extremely family-friendly,
