New York has Central, London has Hyde, Vancouver has Stanley and mark my words, in another decade this will be up there too. It's been a slow motion creation out of landfill, almost by accident, but it has wildlife, views which remind me of Van...More

Suuuuper cool that we have such a neat urban bird sanctuary. Because the walk to the tip of the park is quite long, you seldom see people on foot here. It is used primarily my bikers. Bikers: watch for snakes pleases, saw a few crushed...More

great to go biking and spend some time at the lake. Loved the landfill beach with washed off brick formations, looked almost like pieces of art. Great view of Toronto skyline.

Always a relaxing respite from the city. Lots of birds, beaver, mink, deer. A great bike ride for kids and adults, whether or not choose to wear trousers is entirely up to you.

It's an easy, but long walk. Very flat with no gain in elevation at all; not that it is a bad thing, but it's a little boring. However it is a good change from the cityscape of Toronto, a little natural waterfront sanctuary for a...More

A great walking, biking trail with different views of downtown and the Islands. No pets allowed and it goes out for kilometres. Great in all seasons for bird watching or just a quiet stroll, bike ride or run. Lots of water fowl can be seen...More

Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
