Recently, I was part of a group that attended an afternoon performance of Eat, Repeat First I will say the performers are very talented. Some of the skits were funny. Many were very offensive. I would suggest if you are thinking about going to this show you need to be prepared for offensive language and adult content skits. Regardless of... More

Our 2nd visit to Second City was in Toronto, first visited the Chicago location in the previous year. Studio was a bit more open and a larger feel. However, seats are so closely situated, make sure you wear your deodorant that day! You'll make acquaintances quite easily since they're almost sitting in your lap. Drinks are good, food was so... Very talented performers, show definitely for age 18 and over. Some skits were really funny, other just ok, touching on a variety of subjects like the recent US election. We didn't eat or drink there but they had a wide selection of alcoholic drinks and a limited food menu mainly finger foods like tortilla chips and sweet potato fries which... More

Visited with a group of work colleagues. The skits were funny and relevant, touching on race, U.S presidential election and gender. Food was decent, but nothing over the top. DRINKS = expensive!!! A double Gin (Bombay) and soda was $17.50! Seriously?! That place was absolutely packed and I cannot believe the drink prices. I would go back but would not... More

Very talented comedic performers. Show was hilarious. Lot of laughs. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Just don't plan on eating here. Few choices and the food is really bad. Worst tasting sliders we have ever encountered.

We were here for a company Christmas party. I happen to be celiac and my options for dinner were vegetables and tortilla chips and salsa. Not a very good selection if you ask me. I've had better options in Cuba. The kitchen manager didn't seem to care. The entertainment was amateur at best. Not my idea of a great night... More

We really enjoyed our visit to 2nd City. Surprised that the material included so many references to our election in the states. Quality performance - got a lot of good laughs.

Second city is a great choice for a night out in Toronto. Not every joke/sketch hit, but there were enough laughs and crowd interactions for an enjoyable night. Some of the topics were more geared to Toronto locals and/or Canadians, however as a visitor to this city/country that is to be expected. Overall the show was very good, the improv... More

Whether in Chicago or Toronto I always try to get to Second City. The sketches can be hit or miss, but so what, that's part of the adventure. Plus there are always one or two players who are top notch and you just know you will see again

Thank Steve J

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
