Good education on Jewellery

We met a number of very helpful people who were willing to negotiate and help us find what we wanted. Found my beloved's wedding band there.

My fiancee, who studied architecture and has keen eye for detail, and myself, the household accountant, are very particular people. We shop extensively for the best quality of goods and products, at the best prices. We do extensive researching when we shop for important things both retail and online (TV, furniture, etc), so have a good feel on what is... More

had read a review of the jewelry exchange, populated by individual proprietors, all selling something a bit different. prices were as wide ranging as the individual stalls. found a good deal-- owner was willing to do some negotiating, so got two rings for ~$5oo US. a fun place to check out.

Bought three rings from two different dealers and we were very satisfied. We purchased two rings from "Solid Gold" dealer, eleven channel set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.45, 11 stones = 0.50ct. Had these rings professionally appraised at 3 times the price we paid.

I visited Toronto Jewellery Exchange wanting to part with some money and treat myself to a new ring. The man at Platin Jewellery in Booth 1 was very nice to begin with and did not have to ring I wanted but insisted on getting it in. It would take half an hour and I left $20.00 in good faith that... In the 200 block of Yonge St on the east side of the street, across from Eaton Centre is the Jewelry Exchange, a small mall of jewelry booths, each separately owned it seemed. Good prices good selection. Lots of gold, but they have silver, watches and pearls, diamond, gemstones. Across the board, the prices seemed good but not especially obvious... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
