There used to be more Italian themed restaurants but the area continues to offer some great speciality stores, fashion, shoes. Great place to visit for a taste of Italy.

This area keeps getting better and better. Many good clothing and shoe stores. The place to go for bridal or evening. Just window shopping and ogling the gowns is fun. But there are more interesting shops selling unusual gifts, quality kitchen wares and gadgets, a new shop with unique cork items. Several good children s wear shops, some carrying very... More

Did you know that next to Rome, the city with the next largest Italian population is Toronto? There are 2 areas of the city that can be considered the Corso Italia. College Street west of Bathurst & St. Clair west of Bathurst. Here you'll find all the little Italian shops (great shoes & evening dresses), authentic restaurants, bakeries, coffee houses... More

Keep going back to Corso Italia, Tanyas Furiture & Bath Gallery was my home decore choice. With many big box stores around St Clair Ave West Tanyas Furiture had a wide selection of bathroom vanities and the home decore accent iteams. Got a worry free delivery "no charge" right to my home. St Clair West another great shop and destination.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
