We are a group of 5 attending for the first time. We purchased dinner and a show tickets in advance for $29 each. Since the show was $17, having dinner for $12 seemed like a deal. The website mentions a choice of buffet or a la carte. We received a phone call a few hours before the show to inform... More

Pretty good show, had a great time, worth it. But a couple of issues, first we bought tickets online to be able to get in but when we arrived we had to make the same line of buying tickets just to validate ours. Second, the food was not good, we left most of it.

Supporting a fundraiser for a great cause, we attended the show at Absolute Comedy. To varying degrees the comedians connected with the audience and a couple, along with the emcee, were truly very funny. What wasn't funny was being refused tap water and being told by the server and manager that it was club policy in effect because it would... More

Arrive early and had a drink at the bar. At good advise would be not to be there too early as box office doesn't open at 8 as per the sign. Attendant should to smile and be friendly, Don't get me wrong he is courteous - minimal. Show was okay with 5 amateurs competing in a contest – they try.... More

The show was pretty good. I would say that the MC was the best. Service was pretty slow, bit it was pretty busy. Our waitress was nice and it was a good last minute filler for the night before out flight. The price was good. Approx 20 per person.

We went recently with a large group, ordered some beers and food. Then we asked for a glass of water, and they refused to serve us unless we bought a bottle of water. The comedians were great, but refusing tap water was so sleazy, it made us not want to go back again.

This is very conveniently located comedy club. Cover is from 8 - 15 dollars depending on the day in the week. We went on Thursday and it was 10 per person. I was laughing all the time during 8:30 - 10:00 pm show. Headliner was funny guy with the name Albert Simon. He is funny. And smart. We did not... More

My fiancé and I brought friends to this club while visiting Toronto. It was our 5th time at the Toronto location. It is always a fun night with guaranteed laughter. Many show times to choose from and it only cost $15/person. You can purchase food and/or drinks as well. It is recommended to make reservations prior to. Our friends loved... More

We went to Absolute Comedy on a Wednesday evening through an on line coupon. We had dinner included which was prior to the show. We were entertained by eight comedians; some of them not so funny. We might return, but definitely wouldn't bother with the dinner, but would order off the menu inside the club.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
