Visited The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres on Toronto Open Doors weekend. These are two amazing theatres and the dedication of the volunteers who helped in the restoration work is to be applauded, to think that these theatres were nearly demolished to make way for...More

Toronto may be a city of neighbourhoods, but it is also a city of theatre, and those who miss out on seeing a show or two, would miss one of the better parts of the city. The interior of this theatre alone makes this a...More

An afternoon to remember, a real treat from my daughter. Great seats and the show was outstanding! The " Bodyguard " was fabulous and I enjoyed the staging and the music was the best. The actual theatre was in all it's glory.

If you get a chance to see a show at this amazing old theatre, don't miss it. It is truly ornate and an architectural marvel. The seats are comfy and make seeing a play here a pleasure.

The cast is sublime, the singing out of this world and the theatre a masterpiece of architecture. That leaves the book, the lyrics and the music and sadly they are just not good enough. The word mediocre comes to mind. I wanted so badly for this show...More

We attended the matinée performance of Sousatzka at the Elgin on Sunday and were very pleased with the musical and overall performance. It was our first venture to the Elgin and will not be our last

Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination

with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
