Lovely peaceful walking space, a few interesting graves but not as old or picturesque as the name implies. The chapel is worth a quick visit. If you are in the area, have a walk and look at some of the inhabitants.

As a horror movie fan, I somehow managed to miss George Romero's public memorial service held in Toronto at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in July 2017, which was only a 20+ minute walk away from where I work. So instead, I paid my respects at his...More

This was my second visit since visiting it a few years ago. The cemetery is filled with mature trees and shrubs offering a quiet, shaded, cool respite from a hot sunny day. Well maintained, it is very welcoming and filled with history. Strolling through the...More

This cemetery is in the middle of the city and offers a quiet place of reflection. We visited just before dark. Not sure I could stay past sunset. A great place of history and reverence.

A nice place for a stroll if you're into doing walks in cemeteries. It has a quiet charm and is a good place to visit if you want to learn something about those who were before us. Some interesting markers.

A nice old cemetery with many historical bits and pieces relating to Toronto and Cabbagetown's past. It's a pleasant, peaceful walk while imagining the lives of inhabitants here and a great place to reflect on life. Unfortunately due to snow, ice and tree debris I...More

An uplifting place to bring a date or go for a pic-nic! The "locals" are extremely quiet and mind their own business !! Perfect place to go on a rainy afternoon after a good dose of Prozak or Cypralex ! :) Highly recommended!!

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
