Wonderful area to walk around to see. Unfortunately most of the area is still flooded and the ferry service is only for authorized personnel. Can't wait to come back to visit once the water receeds.

As of 21st July you could only access Wards Island if you had an activity or accommodation pre-booked. However, there were plenty of people on the ferry with bikes but the road signs indicated that roads were closed. The... More
