It might have been down to the time of year, but the only thing this tour lacked was an open-topped bus. Everything else was perfect. We jumped on the bus at Yonge/Dundas and bought our tickets from the guide. She then gave us a really good two-hour tour of the city, visiting many of the tourist spots and providing more... More

As usual, a good City Sightseeing experience, and a good way to see Toronto. Looking online suggests that there are only a couple of places to buy tickets, but we had no problem buying them on the bus. The narration is from a guide rather than a recording, which is much nicer.

Received a good overview of history of Toronto. Also route goes by major tourist sites where you can hop off and on to see things that interest you.

I went with some friends on a full day Niagara tour with city Sightseeing Toronto on April 3rd. I truly enjoyed the tour. The day was long, and we had 4 or 5 stops. It started with a wine tour at a college, then we had about 3 hours at the magnificent Niagara Falls. At the falls we got to... More

Hi there. I would just like to take the time to give some feedback on our recent trip to Toronto. My Mother and I travelled over from Scotland and I had booked your combo package online in December for my Mothers Christmas gift. As you can imagine we were so excited for the tour of the city and the day... More

We used city sight seeing buses on a first day in Toronto and we weren't to impressed we were out of season so they only had buses running once an hour! And there were no time tables at bus stops so you never knew when one was due we waiting over 30 mins for a bus to come but didn't... More

Red hop on and hop off bus tour of Toronto was easy to use, the bus stops are conveniently placed and on both days we used the ticket, the tour guides were cheerful and informative. It was a shame that the boat trip was not running because it was too early in the season but the guide showed us the... More

We were visiting our son and it was our first time in Toronto---this was the ideal venue for covering a lot of territory without having to rent a car nor hire an Uber. My husband and I took this tour two days alone, and our son joined us on his day off on Saturday. We felt it was worthwhile to... More

I stumbled upon the start of the bus and decided to hop on. The tour guide was very informative. It was a good way to see everything in the city when it is so cold outside.

We were given the Toronto City Pass as a gift for the kids for Christmas... But we then had to spend the $175 for 2 adult passes (not a good gift). So far we have been to the aquarium, cn tower, and science centre. Honestly, the CN Tower and Science centre need updating badly. They haven't changed much since I... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
